Introduction
James Roose-Evans (born 11 November 1927) is a British theatre director, scriptwriter, priest and writer on experimental theatre, gesture, ritual and meditation. In 1959 he founded the Hampstead Theatre Club, in London; and in 1974 the Bleddfa Centre for creativity and spirituality, in Powys.
