Bill had a long career on the big and small screens. At the cinema, he appeared in The Long Good Friday (1988), Babylon (1989), White Mischief (1987), Love Actually (2003) & Revolver (2005) as well as several TV movies. Also on TV, Bill, perhaps appropriately, appeared in twelve episodes of The Bill as well as: Inspector Morse (1987), The Jim Henson Hour (1989), Bergerac (1990), The Chief (1991), Grange Hill & Lovejoy (1992), two episodes of both Boon & Minder, The House of Eliot & Pie in the Sky (1994), The Thin Blue Line (1995), Poirot (1996), A Touch of Frost & three episodes of Brass Eye (1997), Grafters (1999), Murphy's Law (2001), two episodes of Casualty, Foyle's War (2003), New Tricks & two episodes of The Brief (2005), Hotel Babylon & My Family (2006), Midsomer Murders & Hustle (2007), Holby City & Wallander (2008), Law & Order & Ashes to Ashes (2009) among many others.
