Introduction

Carlo Goldoni's comedia del arte classic, adapted by Wonderbolt Circus finds Clarice, who was formerly betrothed to Federigo (now thought to be dead) happily betrothed to Silvio. Suddenly, Beatrice (disguised as her brother Federigo), turns up to claim Clarice as his bride. Confusion and fun follow with the arrival of Beatrice's servant, Truffaldino, who also becomes a servant to Florindo. Florindo in turn, is in love with Beatrice and comes to Venice to find her.

To add to the fun, Servant of Two Masters is played very much as a touring "lets do it right here in the town square" company - with enough dodgy italian accents to put Allo, Allo to shame, just in time costume changes, slow-motion chariots of fire moments, completely random Gilbert and Sullvan numbers, a leading lady who insists on singing ('cos it's in her contract) and a desire to be doing 'Les Mis' instead!
