The area that was Caretakers Flat contains the stairs down to the 2nd Floor and up to the Watchtower. It presently contains the main office for the building and rooms intended to be hired out, including a kitchen and show room.
It had a spiral staircase that lead down the outside of the building which was the fire exit for it and for the Rehearsal Room and lead to the Large flat roof. The new fire exit has meant that the spiral staircase has been removed to make way for the lift shaft from the basement to the 2nd floor.
