Introduction

Queers was commissioned to mark the 50th anniversary of the decriminalisation of male homosexuality in 1967. We showcase seven monologues by seven different writers, each exploring different aspects of the gay experience over the last 100 years.

Wow, Queers, what a strong show. It’s hard to pull off monologues, but all the cast did so excellently & with such nuance. As for the story telling, it was impeccable which really resonated with me and my friends (newbies to SLT). 🍑
