I was Membership Secretary for a couple of years in the eighties.

I briefly went into semi-retirement when my children, Jennifer and Thomas, were small, in the nineties.

I ran the bar rota rom 2007 until 2021.

Appointed Members' Club Deputy Chairman 2009.
