Reminiscences and Anecdotes

"When the whale was first rigged (after repairs due to it not quite making it out of Prompt Corner intact due to its size) Bernie asked me to fly it out on its double purchase system to test it. He asked after a while why it hadn't moved, I replied that it was because when I pulled on the ropes my feet lifted off the floor of the catwalk rather than the whale flying out." Brian Fretwell.
