The Rehearsal room was located on the second floor directly above the main stage. As well as providing extra rehearsal space, the room also contained panto costumes and furniture used in SLT Productions. The remains of mirrors and light fittings round the walls showed that it originally doubled as the dressing room(s) with a microphone relaying the show and a telephone for the stage manager to call cast members as needed.
It had a fire-escape down a spiral staircase that leads down the outside of the building to the Large flat roof and the caretakers flat.
After the renovation it will be the main wardrobe room
In use as a dressing room for Carmilla (1981)
and for rehearsals of The Libertine (2007)
