+ | This was a huge ensemble piece, and I remember all the big group of children from the Saturday drama group keeping amused upstairs in the big studio room on the 1st floor - you can see some of the photos of rehearsals and dress rehearsals. We were the Munchkin children, and got to sing some of the songs about the wicked witch being dead. Due to the squash on the stage, with so many actors, there wasn't any room for movement, I recall.
