Introduction

Cordelia Lynn is a playwright, librettist and dramaturg whose plays include: Sea Creatures (Hampstead Theatre, 2023); Love and Other Acts of Violence (Donmar Warehouse, 2021); Hedda Tesman, after Henrik Ibsen (Headlong / Chichester Festival Theatre / The Lowry, 2019); a version of Chekhov's Three Sisters (Almeida, 2019); Lela & Co. (Royal Court, 2015).She was the recipient of the Berwin Lee Award 2020 and the Royal Court's Harold Pinter Commission 2017. Like Flesh, her opera with composer Sivan Eldar, won the Fedora Opera Prize 2021. Houses Slide, her piece with composer Laura Bowler, was nominated for an Ivor Award 2022.
