Introduction
South London Youth Theatre holds classes on Saturdays for children and teenagers aged 8 to 18. Starting each September, we run 6 six-week courses per year offering a variety of workshops, stage skills and the chance to appear in a production in Prompt Corner or Bell Theatre. Students of all ages are also frequently offered the opportunity to appear in other South London Theatre productions.
Juniors
- Aged 8-10 years
- Classes: 11:00-12:00 and 12:15-13:15

Intermediates
- Aged 10-13 years
- Classes: 10:00-12:00
- Current teachers: Maria Bates, Stuart Draper, Alex Kapila and Peter Stevens (Victoria Waddington and Carly Binger)
- Recent productions: Danish Bacon/Rain On Me (2007), Woolfie (2006), Fly Away Dreams (2005)
Youth Group
- Aged 13-18 years
- Classes: 13:00-15:00
- Current teachers: Dave Hollander, Maria Bates and Stuart Draper
- Recent productions: Supanova (2007), Stay With Me (2006), From Shakespeare With Love (2005)
In July-August 2006, SLT teamed up with Melmoth to transfer the Youth production of Stay With Me to the Greenwich Playhouse for a month-long run.
