Introduction
The action takes place on the top floor of a decayed Victorian house in Kensington. A day in February 1968. )Old Professionals, fallen on hard times, live off the money they can raise from goods put in pawn. The last thing of value they possess is a dress, the Coffee Lace; or is it?
The Coffee Lace is half a double bill by John Bowen called Little Boxes, the other play being Trevor, which we presented in 1978.
