Introduction
George Tabori (né György Tábori; 24 May 1914 – 23 July 2007) was a Hungarian writer and theatre director. After the Second World War he became a translator (mainly of works by Bertolt Brecht and Max Frisch) and a screenwriter including Alfred Hitchcock's movie I Confess (1953).
