Introduction
Moliere's raucous comedy remains as hilarious and fresh now as it was when he wrote it in 1668. A well-to-do household lives in fear of the skinflint ways of Harpagon (The Miser). Illicit love affairs, mistaken identities and frenetically farcical situations abound. This will be a very physical piece of theatre with a wide range of influences from commedia dell'arte through to pure slapstick.
