Interests

German by birth, Bill made numerous Film and TV appearances in British productions playing Germans. On film, Bill appeared in Jubilee (1978) and Eye of the Needle (1981). Also in 1981 he appeared in the TV Movie of The Good Soldier. Bill also made appearances in the TV series; The Brothers (1976), Disraeli (1978), Angels (twice)(1980), Auf Wiedersehen Pet (1983), Ellis Island (1984), American Playhouse (1985), The Contract and War & Remembrance (1988) & The New Statesman (1989).
