Fly loft above the Bell theatre .......

A Fly-loft was a space above a stage used to lift equipment and scenery up and out of the view of a the audience.

It is measured in relation to the height of the proscenium arch below, ours is "half height"

It had an exit to the 1st Floor

During the renovations it had the floor under it put back to give more rooms and restore the interior of the Old Fire Station, however some of the pulleys in the ceiling that lighting bars and scenery were flown from are still in situe.
