On 26 March 2011, SLT hosted the launch party for the West Norwood Feast. This is described as:
The West Norwood Feast is a new people-powered market brought to you by local people and businesses working together. For one day a month West Norwood turns into a festival of pop-up culture showing the cultural and entrepreneurial initiative of this part of south London.
The West Norwood Feast is more than just the handing over of money for goods – it’s a celebration of the diversity, talent and entrepreneurial skills of the area. It is also a place to exchange ideas, meet people and be entertained by the local talent.
