Tom became a member of the SLT youth group in 2005 and has appeared in a number of youth and adult shows since. Tom Bucher is slightly autistic.

- Catesby in Richard III (2006) (Bell Theatre)

- Ste in Beautiful Thing (2007) (Bell Theatre)
- Tom subsequently reprised the role of Aaron in the transfer of Stay With Me to Greenwich Playhouse.
