Introduction
The Del Newman Band headline a show made up of rock classics from the late Sixties up to the present.
The Del Newman Band
- Del Newman (vocals) - Del has been involved in numerous projects, shows, and spent many years as a session singer in studios throughout Europe.
- Bushell Montell (bass guitar) - This guy is one of the best on the planet, he's played with some great musicians, virtually lives in recording studios, even sightreads music, not many people do that these days.
- Jim Covington (guitar) - Jim has played with lots of different bands and artistes, lots of tours, and spent seven years as a session player with the BBC working on radio plays, etc.
- Tony Smy (drums) - Tony has worked as a session player for a number of years, and has even worked on songs for the Eurovision Song Contest.
- Lionel Monks (keyboards) - Lionel is a well-known face at the SLT and can often be heard tickling the ivories of the piano in Prompt Corner. This is your chance to finally see him showing off those skills onstage.
