Based in central London, Charles wrote the comedy My Fat Friend which featured, among many illustrious others, Kenneth Williams Maggie Smith, Elspeth March. He continued to write during the 1990s and through to 2006 ( including the comedies The Ring Sisters and About Alice) until forced to stop by ill health. He's still great company even makes his long term accountant/friend laugh from his sickbed. What a trooper !
